Look at this little beauty that arrived in my post box this morning.
Isn't it gorgeous ? Tiny little hexagons, lovely colours and wonderful hand-quilting.
Thankyou so much Laila. I will treasure it. It even has a hanging sleeve stitched on the back. Laila also gave me a cute little pre-printed stitchery to do. I love these little swaps. Again thanks to Margaret for organising this.
Mine too is on it's way to it's new home. I am so proud of this label.
This is actually the first label I have ever "made". I have only ever labelled one other quilt and that was the Winter swap quilt that went to Julia and for that I used a ready made label that I just wrote on. Bad quilter - I will try from here-on to label my quilts.
Back to my flying geese. . . .

The quilt is adorable! I'm a bad quilter too, I rarely label a quilt. I just donated one to a local hospital for a raffle and didn't label it...but I did give them my business card to attach to it. Does that count?
What a sweet quilt. Good girl making a label......*s*
What a wonderful quilt! I try to tell myself that quilts aren't finished till the label is on but it doesn't always work!
I need to say that the little quilt you received is one of the prettiest most perfect ideas I have ever seen. I also would like to say that you did a great job yourself.
I thought of you and smiled yesterday when I had a scone with clotted cream that I found in a shop in my town that only sells English items. I had not been there before and they have been in business for years.
Hi. I'm so happy you liked the little quilt. You has make a great label on your quilt. Have a great day. ;-)
That is a sweet little exchange! Lucky you!
I too lax out on the labeling...and just usually write right on the backing. Shame on me. ;-)
Love the quilt you received, it is just adorable. This make me want to join a swap.
I saw a snippet of this on Laila's blog. You are one lucky lady - it's gorgeous!
Very pretty quilt, and your label is great, it add a nice touch!
What a cute adorable quilt. You certainly are a very lucky lady.
How cute!!! It is so cheery and happy.
I hate labeling quilts. I don't really know why, probably because I never know what to name them. Do you name all of yours?
I still have my winter swap quilt hanging on my wall. I am not taking down any time soon. I love it! Thanks again!
I've never labelled a quilt, although I did embroider my initials on one once. Does that count??? The quilt is lovely - I didn't even realize those were hexagons, they're so small and cute. Lucky you!
Very pretty, love the spring colors.
The quilt from Laila is beautiful. You MUST label your quilts.
That label is wonderful. I really like it. And the quilt is truly a beauty. What amazing hand quilting, too. Wow!
Oh - that is such a lovely little quilt - lucky you. You 4 season swappers are a real talented bunch - I have seen some really pretty little quilts this week all over blogland!!
What a happy Spring quilt and to have it hand quilted is so special. Your cracker blocks are making up very nice and I am anxious to see what you are going to do with those flying geese blocks.
Cute story about the cats. Cats are fun to have around most of the time - except this morning, when my cat turned over my box of buttons and they went everywhere. As I pick them up, she comes and sits beside me, purring.
WOW! How awsome! It's it cool to receive something made with love from a stranger?
I think your label is perfect! I need to be more creative with mine!
Lovely .... just lovely! We're going to see lots of eye candy in the next little while.
Love this quilt! Lucky you. I'm anxiously awaiting my Four Seasons and Doll Quilt III quilts theses days. Enjoy your and good work with the label!
Such a gorgeous little quilt, you will really enjoy it. The label is great, I'm not known for always remembering a label!!! Usually too excited a quilt is actually finished!!

Your label is very nice too.
I love your blog! Thanks for sharing all the wonderful pictures!!!
love the little quilt........
Great Gift to get when you expected just fabric. I'm not into hand-quilting, so I really appreciate the great job Leila did on your present.
Keep up the good work with labels, as I know how others feel about having them on quilts. I am trying too, to put them on everything lately.
Love your cat story, aren't they fun?
